Our expert technicans have a standard test for a garage door’s reversing mechanism. First, you should find even ground and place a 2″ x 4″ board where your door touches upon closing. If your door is working correctly, it should reverse within 2 seconds of hitting the wood after you attempt to close it. If the door doesn’t reverse, please feel free to contact us to have a qualified technician visit your home and diagnose the problem.
You should be repeating this process every 3 months.
