Last week my garage door broke. The thing that attaches to the motor broke off the bracket that pulls the door up. I called Overhead Door Company because there was a sticker on the door (I didn't have the original installed). They actually answered the phone quickly and someone came out the next morning. He showed me all the reasons that I might consider a new door (which were valid) and I opted not to replace the door. He fixed the original problem and another one to strengthen the imperfect door. He didn't push or try to scare me when I said no to the new door. Unfortunately, tradespeople often take advantage of women who are sometimes less informed than men (and often not!). He didn't push and was completely respectful of my choice. He was efficient, friendly and the cost was really fair and reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Overhead Door. We reached out to at least four different companies to quote adding five garage doors to our pole barn. We had two responses from companies other than Overhead Door. One came out and walked through the project, but never produced a quote. The other companiy that we reached out to did not even bother to visit once they learned we were getting additional quotes. This is baffling to us because how many times do you buy a This is baffling to us because how many times do you buy a garage door? We were buying five doors, which is the equivalent of five customers. It’s very bizarre the state of work ethics these days. Overhead Door is the only company that came out and took the time to walk through the project and give us a quote promptly. The price was fair as we had collected quotes years ago. Wow, we are so thrilled with the product and the end result. The doors are quiet, strong and very attractive. This was an outstanding experience and I’m over the moon with the results!
