Honoring Heroes, One Home at a Time

We are proud to stand beside the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a remarkable organization dedicated to honoring and supporting America’s heroes.

Founded in the wake of 9/11, Tunnel to Towers has made it their mission to uplift the families of our nation’s bravest. Their work includes providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families and the families of fallen first responders with young children. They also build custom-designed smart homes for veterans and first responders living with life-altering injuries, extend relief to disaster-stricken communities, and address the urgent issue of veteran homelessness.

When the time came to honor a hero in Atlanta, we were humbled to take part in such a meaningful project. Our skilled residential installation team at Overhead Door Company of Atlanta™ contributed by installing products from Overhead Door Corporation’s Smart Home Program. The garage door and operator with the Wifi Smart Home automation is the perfect fit to help the recipient achieve a more independent lifestyle; putting the final touch on a home designed to celebrate and support a deserving family.

Thanks to the generosity of Overhead Door Corporation, which donated an insulated door from their Carriage House Collection, this home now combines beauty with long-term security, energy efficiency, and durability. It’s more than just a door—it’s a symbol of comfort, safety, and the gratitude we share for those who sacrifice so much.
